So, it is July 5th, and summer has most definitely begun. I got a job at the pool this summer and have been vacuuming and cleaning the heck out of my days. I have been getting some great reading time in while I sit around at the pool too! I started to reread Deathly Hallows in celebration of Part 2, which hits theaters on the 15th!! I have also been reading the campus literary magazine from school which I never got to do. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and relatability of the pieces.
I also went and saw Something Borrowed, The Green Lantern, and Pirates 4 at the drive in. I really liked all of them. Green Lantern was very cool. I saw some similarities to Batman and Superman, of course both are DC, but Green Lantern also had something new to set it apart. I thought Blake Lively was one of the best female counterparts there have been. She is gorgeous and natural, but she also has a very strong presence. The last spot I saw her in was Sisterhood; she has developed as an actress since then.
July 4th was fun as always. However, I decided that the Preamble/Declaration should be read on a loop on the radio all day long. Independence Day has become a drunk fest as always. Yes, you are free to drink as much as you want, but how about you do it on any other day but the fourth. The drunkenness really irritates me.
My little brothers and sisters made a fort today. Fun stuff 😉
Also, Beyonce’s I Am… Yours concert is really good. Teennick played it, and I like it a lot!!
My Scentsy business has been picking up too; I became a Certified Consultant!! Woot woot!
