I’ve failed at “being a blogger.” I have been working at the pool far too much, and when I’m home I rarely get on the compy. It seems like everyday I have To-do lists that get longer as the day goes on. I would love to sit down, edit some photos, bust out a cool post, but I’m too busy enjoying the summer.
My sister came home from Nashville Friday night, and we had a surprise party for my grandparents yesterday. What a fantastic party! I spent time with my cousins who I’ve missed a lot. At one point my Aunt from VA interrupted the group at the end of the night. All the party people had left so it was just my cousins, siblings, and aunts and uncles around. She said “I’d just like to say, there is no where I would rather be than right here with all of you!” Then the whole group yelled cries of “Here, here” and “Amen!’
WHAT A GREAT FAMILY I HAVE!
Seriously, between my Mom’s five siblings and their spouses and children. I have the greatest family of all time. I mean, my uncle was playing music, and all my little family members were dancing up a storm. Then my Aunt puts Skrillex in, and everyone went crazy. I just stood there thinking “My family is so freakin’ cool!”
I’m trying not to think about going back to school. As much as I want the routine back, I know I’ll be homesick. Summer’s so sweet!
