1.What one event, big or small, are you going to tell your grandchildren about?
This one’s easy. I moved into a house with my sister and cousin. Having a house is so much better than sharing a room with my 9 year old sister – no matter how much I love her. I enjoy buying my own groceries, cooking, and doing house projects.
2.If you had to describe your 2015 in 3 words, what would they be?
Transitional, encouraging, & informative.
3.What new things did you discover about yourself?
I learned I can sing in public successfully – like lead singer in a band successful.
4.What single achievement are you most proud of?
Finding a job that I enjoy and paying all my own bills.
5.What was the best news you received?
At the time, I did not consider it the best news, but my sister told me she was pregnant in 2015. She called me on my lunch break to tell me, and I had to keep it a secret for a week!
6.What was your favorite place that you visited in 2014?
DanandSaraLand
7.Which of your personal qualities turned out to be the most helpful this year?
I think my patience and relaxed attitude was helpful this year. I lived with my pregnant sister and switched jobs. I was able to roll with the changes and listen to others when they needed to vent.
8.Who was your number one go-to person that you could always rely on?
My sister-roommate.
9.Which new skills did you learn?
My new job has helped me learn how to cut tile on a wet saw as well as mount and grout tile.
10.What, or who, are you most thankful for?
My Dad. He bought a house for my sister and I to occupy. He put a new roof on out garage and helped us with a bunch of other house projects. He’s a stand-up guy.
