AVENGERS ASSEMBLE!!!

I was so excited for this movie.  It wasn’t the same as my Hunger Games excitement.  More like “I KNOW THIS IS GOING TO BE EPIC AND HAVE SO MANY OF MY FAVORITE PEOPLE IN IT I CAN’T HANDLE IT!”

I cannot really communicate how I felt while watching the movie.  Let me tell you though, going to the midnight premiere was a great decision.  The crowd was a lot of fun! There was clapping and yelling.  I love how familiar everyone was with the characters.  Every time an Avenger made an appearance for the first time, we all went crazy!
First, can we talk about this guy?
This is Joss Whedon, TV and movie genius.  He is fantastic.  Buffy, Firefly, Angel, The Avengers, Cabin in the Woods, need I say more? Anyway, he is the man of the hour, no the year. The movie was absolutely amazing.  My new favorite movie, bar none.
Why?
Besides the fact that this movie is comprised of so many beautiful people it is hardly bearable, the incorporation of all of these Marvel characters together in one movie is what puts it over the edge.  They did an amazing job bringing all of the characters together.  I think they all got a really good amount of screen time.  I watch the cartoons, and one of the best parts about The Avengers are there personalities coming together.  The personalities are so awesome and their lines fantastic. I loved seeing that come to life (thanks again Whedon).
Next we come to the reason for my inevitable depression, Chris Evans as Captain America.  A few days ago a friend asked me who my favorite is.  I couldn’t decide.  I love Thor because he is adorable; I love Ironman because he thinks he’s so hot.  But I ultimately came to the final decision that Captain America is the best.  He is a grown up boy scout.  Like honestly, he is an old fashioned soldier.  What more could I ask for?  He is just my kind of guy.  Seeing the movie just made me love Cap even more.  When he went at it with Tony Stark? Oh my lanta!  I love him.

Now, I’m back to watching The Earth’s Mightiest Heroes on Netflix whenever I can.  But I have to come out of my dream world and realize Steve Rogers isn’t a real person and that superheroes dressed in tight leather pants don’t exist.  Reality is so hard to face.
