I haven’t done a fitness Friday in awhile, but March Madness has set in on loseit.com – and I am taking it very seriously. I started with an hour long walk/jog on Saturday. Then on Sunday I worked an extra shift which was standing and walking for two hours. On Monday, I had rugby practice, so that added up to about an hour of running drills. Tuesday and Wednesday I lost my motivation, but I went to the gym yesterday! I used the elliptical for 15 minutes and then walked for an hour and fifteen minutes. I am aiming to reach the March madness goal of 2000 min. of running or walking by the end of the month. I’m a little behind,
but I have a lot of free time to catch up because spring break starts today! Huzzah! I think I might start a competition with my sister, Biggest Loser style. She ordered this meal supplement to try and I am dead set on losing the old fashioned way – exercise. I already lost nine pounds this year from watching my diet and being cautious about when I eat and what I eat.
Fot example, I try to limit carbs after lunch, and I’ve also been eating more good carbs (rather than processed ones). I think I can the loss in my legs a little, but I could be projecting.
Who knows.
