Healthifying

There once was this time during the early summer months while I was living alone that I was at a healthy weight. I was on such a good track and felt so good. Then   June happened, and somehow I went back about as far as I had moved forward. 


Luckily in July I started exercising more regularly. I feel so much better about my physical activity! Still, I know I’m not eating the best that I can. I love food and want to continue to enjoy it, but some health benefits would be nice. 


Last week I decided that I needed to eat more whole foods and do a limited “paleo” diet. So I ate this for lunch…
Mmmmmmm.

I’m not going to lie; I enjoyed it. I was ok with it. Salads get boring so fast, and this meal was well rounded and simple.

Then my grandmother decided to bring these over…
Thanks a lot! But I did not have any! I had a salad for dinner and didn’t have a taste of my mom’s spaghetti casserole thing either. I did however reward myself for  good behavior by having Cream Cheese Blintzes with my friends.
