First Day Jitters

Well here I am on day two of my last fall semester.  I survived the first three of four classes, and I think I am really going to enjoy them.  I’m starting to realize my anxiety was unwarranted, but that doesn’t mean I won’t be anxious tonight or even tomorrow.  It doesn’t matter how inconsequential something may or may not be, I worry about it.

For all of you who are excited about school starting or auditions or try outs, I hate you.  Not really, but I am super jealous that you don’t deal with the probably pretty serious anxiety that I sometimes do.  I should add, though, that when I was a freshman, I too, was excited to be at school.  I was into school; I was into living on my own.  My first semester went pretty well, and I participated in class.  Then I had a few semesters that were rough and had me doubting myself.  The past few years I’ve been trying to be the student I know I can be and also figure out what I want to do after college.

I won’t bore you with the details of all that goes on in my head, but I will share these quotes I found on Pinterest that have been helping me along the past few days.
