Summer, summer summer.
Towards the end of my semester, I began hearing the “S” word in the back of my mind. It started low and quiet and got louder and more lovely as the days got brighter and warmer.
Summer.
Not unlike this scene at the beginning of High School Musical 2 (yes, that is the comparison I just made), a summer countdown ticked in my head as my finals finished. I became completely distracted by thoughts of swimming, sunbathing, fishing, and general goofing off when I knew that I would soon be home for the warm months.
And it’s happening. I have been laying out in the sun, smooching my adorable baby cousin, and heading out to bonfires at my friends’ houses. I have been reading books that I WANT to read and finishing up TV series that I have been itching to watch. I have painted and crocheted and filled the storage on my iPhone with day to day photos.
Here is a quick roundup of my Instagram photos and other edits lately.

Check out the “A Beautiful Mess” photo editing app for smart phones! I used it on nine of these photos. I’m kind of in love with it.
Love more, enjoy more.
