Saturday: Fun hike to the living sign a town over with Dad and my youngest siblings.
Sunday: Lunch and a walk with friends. My cousin’s 22nd birthday was on Sunday, so we all met for lunch at a small, local grill. I had one of those moments while I was sitting there. I pictured my fifth grade-self seeing me and my friends at our table. I know I would have thought that we were so cool and wished that I was them. The moment was awesome because past me and present me caught up with one another; I realized that I have so much to be grateful for. I hope future me will look back on that lunch fondly and that there are many more moments like that to come. I also love that we went on a walk afterward. It was just a fantastic Sunday.
After I hung out with my girls, I went home and cleaned out my car. I wiped down the inside of the windows and vacuumed. I moved the ice scraper to the trunk along with the wiper fluid. I think (hope) that spring is truly here to stay.
