I feel like my whole year had building up to this. I’m pathetically excited for this movie! I might see it twice. Oh my goodness, I can’t even handle myself. But, I HAVE A TEST IN AN HOUR! And still have homework to do before I can don my TEAM Katniss shirt and freak out some more! Ahhhhhh!
I have a photo for this post, but it is on my camera which is in my dorm room, no laptop remember! It is a photo of my copy of The Hunger Games book. The book jacket printed wrong! It is my own little unique book jacket. Haha, anyway that will get on here eventually. Here is a book review for you, of course Hunger Games related!
The Girl Who Was on Fire: Your Favorite Authors on Suzanne Collins’ Hunger Games Trilogy by Leah Wilson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
This book was really interesting. It enhanced my understanding of Collins’ trilogy, and made me love it even more. There are so many lessons to be learned from the world of Panem. I wish everyone would read this book so they could more thoroughly understand the series. With all the movie madness (which I am totally obsessed with) it is good to remember that the books, Katniss, and most likely Collins are totally against the media hype, or in the least weary of it. Katniss is a rebel who loves her family, and even though I totally bought the People magazine Hunger Games edition, it’s truly important to learn from Katniss and not forget what is important. These essays definitely encourage this outlook.
