From the beginning to the end, this trailer was phenomenal. I am so excited that it is true to the ideas of the book. Jennifer Lawrence seems to truly understand Katniss. When she volunteered after Prim’s name is called, I shuddered; it was a great performance, and Gale walking away with Prim in her arms is heartbreaking. I knew tears were coming after the opening scenes. I still really like Kravitz as Cinna, he is so fabulous ;). The music was chilling and perfect; there are so many things to applaud in this trailer, that I really don’t think I can wait until March to see the full film. Donald Sutherland’s voice over was brooding, and I can’t wait to see more of him. I also want to see Peeta’s performances in front of the Capitol; he is supposed to be such a smooth, captivating talker. Still, my favorite part was when Katniss signs to Rue’s district on the display screens; I get chills, every, time (and I’ve watched this trailer close to twelve times today). Ending with her reaction, and the reaction of her loved ones, as the games begin was also fantastic. Finally, Rue’s song at the end just rounds out the overall excellent trailer. I am beyond happy with this trailer! It is moving all on its own.
The world better not end on December 22nd because I need to see this movie.

Also I just was assigned a district at http://www.thecapitol.pn/ I got District 7, my lucky number, and I build furniture which is one of my secret desires, to go into construction. Bizarre! 😉
