MY 2016 #41-50

MY 2016 #41-50

41.What do you want the overarching theme for your 2016 to be?
Perseverance.

42.What do you want to see, discover, explore?
Realistically, I want to visit some family in Virginia at some point. Of course, road-tripping the US is a perpetual travel goal.

43.Who do you want to spend more time with in 2016?
Firstly, Charlie Horse. He still needs heavy – but patient – obedience training. It comes with the breed.
I’d like to spend more time with people I don’t know that well. There are a couple people that come to mind, a friend from work, friends of the family, people from church, etc.

44.What skills do you want to learn, improve or master?
Painting, photography, knitting. Every. Time. Also, I want to write more. I need to write more.

45.Which personal quality do you want to develop or strengthen?
I have a hard time giving people orders while at work. I feel self conscious about needing things from people. I’m not sure if it’s the fact that I can’t do it by myself or the idea of me telling people I need something done as quickly as possible. Whichever it is, I need to work on it.

46.What do you want your everyday life to be like?
I want to wake up refreshed and ready to get up. I want to eat healthy and get my exercise in each day. Without my Planet Fitness membership I have really been on the struggle bus with motivating myself to exercise. Hopefully my days involve more hardcore physical exercise. I also hope to continue my reading streak. I’m almost done with my second book this month. I read before bed almost every night – a little too late at times too, if you ask me. Most importantly, I want to focus on being present, happy, and active.

47.Which habits do you want to change, cultivate or get rid of?
I have the habit of getting really inspired and then quickly burning out. I think the biggest thing I struggle with is acting on inspiration consistently.
48.What do you want to achieve career-wise?
I want to get the most out of my current job for as long as I can. There’s a lot I can do with this job – a lot I can put on my resume – if I make it happen.

49.How do you want to remember the year 2016 when you look back on it 10/20/50 years from now?
I want to remember 2016 as the year I tried incredibly hard and achieved as many goals as I could.

50.What is your number one goal for 2016?
My number one goal is to get stronger again and lose weight. However, I hate that being my number one goal so I will also write that I want to earn at least $1000 by selling things I’ve created.
